Little Reef is a trilogy that follows up on the large painting Reef. The colorful and magnificent underwater world under the inconspicuous smooth water surface (reproduced in the paintings by the smooth epoxy resincoating) fascinates me. The colorful, overwhelming variety of creatures mergeswith thedeep blue of the waterto create a true riot of colour. It was always very difficult for me to tear myself away from this picture while snorkeling.
